I don't live in the area, but I ordered for delivery. They have great customer service and the food was super yummy according to my aunt, who was the recipient of the meal.
You would never think this hole in the wall served amazing food. This small restaurant has been a staple in the Federal Way community since forever! The service is good, but the food is amazing. Come check it out if you're ever in the area!
Kwan Tip Thai is my favorite Thai restaurant in Federal Way and Tacoma. Second favorite in state of WA. We've eaten in and gotten delivery. When we dined in, the staff was friendly and service was good. ` Every item we've tried has been great. To date, our favorites are Crab Wonton, Pad Thai, Panang Curry. The Khao Soi, Pineapple Fried Rice, Crispy Garlic Chicken, Seven Flavor Beef, and Mango Sticky Rice are also good. Not a single bad item tried yet. Additionally, our family did party trays for a birthday party. Seamless ordering experience and everyone was really happy with the food. We would order catering from Kwan Tip Thai again.
We popped into this establishment, after failing to find a reliably vegan-options Korean spot in Federal Way, and gotta say, we scored finding this lovely place! Not sure if it's typically busier, since we arrived after the busy lunch hour, but we more or less had the place to ourselves, minus one other small party. I ordered a vegan tofu eggplant dish, veganized (no fish sauce) and it was a very generous and hearty portion of deliciousness - I had enough for leftovers. The flavors all melded together very well and there were plenty chunks of tofu. My friends also seemed to really enjoy their entrees as well! The service was top notch, very attentive and friendly. The establishment itself isn't in the most luxurious location, which is fine, by me - it felt a little hole-in-the-wally. Anyway, thanks Yelp for coming through with another clutch Thai recommendation!
Our go-to for Thai food in Federal Way!! Whether we dine in or take out, the food is always consistent and delicious. They are always busy which shows how much people love the food. Love coming here! Khop khun ka!
Ordered the Crispy Garlic Chicken and my only complaint was rice wasn't included with the meal. The taste was exactly what the menu stated, crispy. Had a very crispy crunch with nicely touch of garlic sauce. I thought about ordering a second helping of it but decided not too. Service was excellent and felt very welcomed to be there. Will come back and enjoy some other dishes they offer.
I only ever ordered from Kwan Tip Thai via delivery and never got to experience the dine-in ambiance or service. But the food was always on point. I consistently ordered the Spring Rolls and Chicken, Beef or Shrimp Pad Thai and was always impressed with the quality, portion size, and temperature, even with delivery. If you're looking for delicious Thai delivery, this is your place.
